CargoBridge at Web Summit Lisbon 2025
Bringing Logistics Innovation to the Global Tech Stage
This November, the CargoBridge team travelled to Lisbon to participate in Web Summit 2025, one of the most influential global technology events. With more than 70,000 attendees, thousands of startups, major corporations, investors, and policymakers, Web Summit is where new ideas, partnerships and future-defining technologies are born. We were proud to represent Lithuania among the startups selected by Innovation Agency Lithuania.
Why Web Summit Matters for CargoBridge
For us, Web Summit is not just a conference – it is a strategic opportunity to position CargoBridge as a technology-driven logistics innovator. The event allowed us to:
- Meet global investors interested in logistics, AI, automation & enterprise SaaS
- Connect with potential partners across the transport, supply chain and tech sectors
- Benchmark our platform against cutting-edge global solutions
- Share our vision of unifying the freight forwarding ecosystem with AI and digital workflows
Representing Lithuania as a Selected Startup
This year, there was no dedicated Lithuanian pavilion, but we were proud to represent Lithuania at our own stand, having been chosen by Innovation Agency Lithuania as one of the startups showcasing the country’s growing innovation ecosystem.
Our stand became a point of discussion for how CargoBridge is modernizing freight forwarding through:
- AI-based automation
- eFTI-ready digital documentation
- CO₂ tracking and sustainability reporting
- Real-time visibility and optimisation
- Seamless communication across the supply chain

Exploring the Newest Ideas in Logistics
One of the most valuable aspects of Web Summit was the opportunity to see the latest concepts and technologies emerging in logistics and freight forwarding.
We explored:
- New digital freight platforms and marketplace models
- AI-driven optimisation tools
- Carbon-tracking and sustainability solutions
- Autonomous mobility and smart transport innovations
- Cybersecurity and compliance technologies relevant to logistics
This gave us a broader view of where the industry is heading and confirmed that the CargoBridge roadmap is aligned with global innovation trends.
Meetings, Conversations & New Opportunities
Throughout the event, we met with:
- Venture capital funds focused on logistics, deep tech and AI
- Technology providers offering potential integrations
- Logistics companies seeking digital solutions
- Founders from across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and USA
